Resin Synthesis Modifier

It serves as:

1. A leveling agent to improve the flow properties of organic resin coatings;

2. A copolymerization modifier for organic resins, significantly enhancing the softness, lubricity, Hydrophobicity, while delivering long-lasting coating effects without silicone chain migration issues.

Depending on molecular structures (from 8722A to 8722F):

1. Compatibility with organic resins decreases progressively;

2. Modified resin prooperties show gradual improvements in wear resistance and flexibility.

Terminal hydroxyl-functionalized organosilicon compounds exhibit excellent compatibility with various polyurethane, polyester, and acrylic resins. 

The terminal hydroxymethyl groups (-CH₂OH) can react with functional groups such as isocyanate (-NCO), carboxyl (-COOH), and amino (-NH₂), thereby introducing silicone components into the resin system. 

This significantly enhances the resin's processing fluidity, low-temperature flexibility, anti-blocking properties, as well as stain and graffiti resistance.

Since the hydroxyl-functional groups can be crosslinked into the organic resin , they significantly enhance hydrophobicity, anti-fouling properties, and noticeably improve water- and oil-repellency. 

Additionally, they contribute to better surface cleanability of the resin.
