The surface tension of water-based industrial coatings is high, and the substrates for industrial applications are diverse and complex, making it difficult for the coatings to adequately wet low-surface-tension substrates. Therefore, adding a small amount of substrate wetting agent to the coating can effectively reduce its surface tension. This not only facilitates easier application but also prevents surface defects in the coating caused by insufficient wetting between the film and the substrate.
